At the "Word in the Community" event, youth from all over the country and from all parts and sectors of Israeli society presented ideas aimed at promoting a more cohesive and tolerant society.

The highlight event of the Youth Initiatives project for connections in Israeli society took place at the President's House, as part of "Exchanging Words in the Community" - the strategic collaboration between the society, community centers, and the President's House.
Youth Initiatives, a project led by the Department of Children, Youth and Young People in the Community Center Society, and partnered with the Society and Youth Administration at the Ministry of Education, involves hundreds of youth working together to increase the circles of influence, emphasize the connector over the divider, and build a future of togetherness here.
At the event, girls and youth from all over the country and from all parts and sectors of Israeli society presented various initiatives aimed at promoting a more cohesive and tolerant society. One initiative we particularly liked was the collaboration between youth from community centers in Kiryat Malachi and Gush Etzion, who united in a joint musical ensemble and recorded the song "Ketan Alinu" in order to change the discourse in Israeli society.
The CEO of the Community Center Society, Tal Bessachs, noted that "the event is a testament to the power of youth to lead significant social change. We at the Community Center Society are committed to continuing to invest in youth and support their initiatives, because we believe that they are the ones who will bring about the necessary social change."
