Seder Tu B'Shvat in the Sign of the Rebirth of Israel
The State of Israel experienced one of the largest, most murderous and most vicious attacks on Simchat Torah 5774.
Since then, we have been engaged in a major war against terrorist organizations to create the conditions for the renewed revival of the conflict settlements in complete peace and security. The Jewish holidays usually mark a major threat, from which salvation is a reason for a great celebration. Tu B'Shvat is an exceptional holiday, in which there are no enemies to Israel but Jewish, Zionist and universal challenges. Tradition teaches that the renewal of the nature of the Land of Israel begins on Tu B'Shvat. We wish to take advantage of this occasion and mark the beginning of the awakening, rehabilitation and rebuilding of the communities of the south that were affected by the genocide committed against us by our enemies on October 7, 2023. Community centers throughout Israel will dedicate this special occasion on the Hebrew calendar to the revival of the conflict settlements. This will be a wonderful opportunity to increase Israeli society's identification with sisters and brothers who are experiencing bitter suffering in bereavement, in the kidnapping of family members, in the destruction of homes and communities, and in displacement from their natural places to other communities in Israel. It is also an opportunity to strengthen values that are already required, such as social cohesion, mutual responsibility, and a connection to the tradition of Israel. The Society for Community Centers is fully mobilized for the process of reviving the affected communities; in strengthening social resilience and in building a prosperous community. We wish every Israeli home a blessed Tu B'Shvat.
