Informal education is a significant space for personal and social development, complementing the formal education system. We develop and operate a variety of educational programs in community centers that provide children and youth with tools and values for life, while developing social, emotional and cognitive skills. These activities include leadership groups, youth mentors, enrichment classes, volunteering and social engagement.

The activities promote values of personal responsibility, tolerance, cooperation, and mutual respect, while creating meaningful learning experiences and opportunities for self-expression. Participation in these programs strengthens the sense of community and develops the social awareness and civic engagement of the younger generation.

Among the programs operating in this field are: the Karb Program for Involvement in Education, Connected, Circle for Every Child, Makrok, Magen HaKhiyala, National Ninja League, Young Leadership Program (Madatzim), Story on the Road, Mahlab - Community Education and Learning Centers, Keys, and more.

From Korok Israel - Making Music - Building Community

'Makrok' is a groundbreaking national musical project of the Community Center Society that combines experiential learning of the sources of Jewish-Israeli culture and original musical creation inspired by them. The Makrok is intended for musicians aged 21 and over. These are singers, solo musicians and ensembles - working in all styles of music (rock, pop, Mizrahi, rap, jazz, etc.) who go through a fascinating personal and creative journey during the project.

The Connected program for immigrant youth from France provides a supportive informal framework to help support and help immigrant children integrate into Israeli society.

The program is a joint venture of the Sports Department, together with the "Hechaluts" organization and the Hapoel Center, and its main goals are to provide a response to the need on the ground in creating close encounters between boys and girls from different communities and groups in Israeli society, and instilling values of fair sports education, tolerance, cooperation and equality.

A youth mentoring program is designed to reduce the dropout phenomenon in the Haredi sector, by reducing gaps and creating social mobility among youth in Haredi society.

Frameworks for ongoing educational activities for students with autism spectrum disorders, as an executive arm of the Ministry of Education.

The establishment of training complexes and a national Ninja League by the Community Center Society will create a community of those involved in the field and will also allow boys and girls who are unable to participate in competitive sports to take part in major regional and national events.

A variety of performances and meetings in the fields of arts and the stage, available for booking now through the Rosh Shakit Arts Center.

The Kareb program works to reduce gaps and equal opportunities in Israeli society through the development, management, and operation of diverse enrichment classes and activities.
